# Rosie

Rosie has spent her life proving that age is no barrier to leadership, vision, or impact. Beginning her journey as a lobbyist at just nine years old—an achievement that earned her recognition from Reverend Al Sharpton—she discovered early the power of civic engagement and the importance of amplifying voices that are too often overlooked. That formative experience ignited a lifelong passion for justice and advocacy, setting her on a trajectory that would eventually lead to candidacy in the 2024 presidential election. Her campaign was not simply about seeking office—it was about demonstrating that bold ideas, rooted in empathy and equity, can inspire communities across the nation to believe in systemic change.

Her early achievements garnered significant media attention, with features in the Daily News during middle school and later in the NYCHA Journal. At fourteen, Rose's entrepreneurial spirit flourished as she started both her childcare business and dance group, demonstrating an early commitment to nurturing and empowering young people. By fifteen, she was teaching in after-school programs, where she honed her skills in creating engaging, meaningful educational experiences. Her innovative approach to education later distinguished her as a top 1% coding teacher, blending technical expertise with her deep understanding of child development.

As Creator of Global Citizen, Rose has built a platform that bridges grassroots activism with global solidarity. What began as a vision to empower local communities has grown into a movement that connects families, educators, and young leaders worldwide. Through Global Citizen, she has championed initiatives to end extreme poverty, expand access to education, and institutionalize justice infrastructure in national constitutions and budgets. Her work reflects a deep commitment to building legacy movements—curricula, archives, fellowships, and podcasts—that ensure advocacy continues across generations. She transformed her dance studio into the Global Citizens Community Center, creating a space where learning, creativity, and civic engagement intersect.

Rose's academic foundation at Harvard University, where she majored in political science, provided her with the intellectual rigor to complement her lived experience. At Harvard, she immersed herself in constitutional law, governance, and systems thinking, sharpening the analytical skills that now inform her strategic approach to campaigns and community building. Her scholarship reinforced her belief that sustainable change requires both visionary leadership and operational excellence. She has since applied these principles to every project she undertakes, whether drafting complex legal filings for family and appellate courts or designing drag-and-drop visual packs and rollout calendars for global advocacy campaigns.

Her career is marked by a unique blend of storytelling and systems design. Rose understands that movements endure not only through powerful narratives but also through the infrastructure that supports them. She has served as communications ambassador for President Obama's inauguration, campaign manager for Senator Mike Fowler, and strategist for District Leader Jesse Hamilton. In each role, she has demonstrated her ability to weave human stories into operational blueprints, ensuring that every campaign is both emotionally resonant and structurally sound.

In 2022, Rose partnered with Joy Anderson to open Global Scholars Learning, bringing together decades of educational expertise, entrepreneurial experience, and a deep commitment to preparing children for a global world. The school reflects her belief that education should nurture the whole child while fostering global learning, cultural understanding, and a passion for sustainability. She also became a Public Health Leader. She serves on the board for WIBO works. In the past she served as a a member of WIBO works curriculum redesign committee and Co-hort Facilitator. She currently holds memberships at Real Sisters Rising, National Action Network and is a volunteer for Americas Red Cross in the Greater New York area to further her career in community building.

Rose Marie Williams stands as a testament to what is possible when passion meets purpose. Her life's work is not only about achieving milestones but about creating pathways for others to follow. Her journey—from lobbying at nine to her presidential candidacy, from starting her childcare business at fourteen to co-founding Global Citizen and opening Global Scholars Learning—exemplifies a leader who has consistently shown that leadership is not defined by age but by vision and commitment. Her work is energized by a refusal to let movements fade; instead, she builds systems designed to outlive her, empowering communities to carry the torch forward and shaping the legacy tools that will inspire generations to come.
